Last week, Christopher bugged me for half a school day to get him a piece of cardboard so he could make a bow and arrow that he had designed in his mind. After school (and after Daddy got home and got him some cardboard), Christopher finally got to make his bow and arrow creation. Unfortunately, his cardboard weapons didn't work out as well as he had envisioned. When he got them all cut out and put them through a test run, part of his bow began to collapse. He came to me for help: "Mommy, this part of the bow is bent. Can you stabilize this part somehow?"
Sure, honey, I'd be glad to "stabilize" that for you.

Good Morning, Lucy. I love all your posts! Usually I see the updates on FB, and that links me over here to your blog. I've "subscribed" for the email updates, but I never get email notices, and when I try again to subscribe, it tells me I'm already subscribed and won't let me do it again. Not sure if maybe others are subscribed and not geting the notifications too. But like I said, I do get the FB entries, so I keep on top of what's going on! Love you lots! Sarah
Thanks for the tip, Sarah. I've checked into it, and messed with some buttons that I don't understand. We'll see what happens now... Keep me posted (no pun intended).
Since I "follow" your blog, it shows up in the dashboard of my own blog as a summary. I can usually read the whole thing without jumping over to your blog so it probably does not show up in your stats, but I am here! In fact, I have mentioned your blog to several people just this week. Is this a public blog? I will add a link to the comment that I made about it on facebook last night if it is.
Love you,
Latisha
Thanks, Latisha! Yes, it is public. I really appreciate you reading it and following it (and supporting it). I enjoy yours, too.
