A Doggie Birthday Celebration

Lexi, our Golden Retriever puppy, recently turned one year old. Sarabeth and Christopher felt that she just had to have a birthday cake, so they made her one: a plate full of peanut butter topped with Lexi's favorite doggie treats. Lexi was thrilled, and the children couldn't stop laughing....

 

Genetics

Christopher may have been born in Michigan, but he's got some good ol' Southern rib-eatin' genes in there somewhere. Chet brought some ribs home from GFS, seasoned 'em up and grilled 'em, and Christopher was all over 'em! (And Lexi was stickin' close, too...)

Making Music

Christopher is left-handed. He has always played his toy guitar left-handed, which is, of course, incorrect. Last weekend, we found a very affordable used (full-size) left-handed guitar for him from Craigslist. He's crazy about it, and he's been playing it constantly. I think we may be ready for some guitar lessons....
